Here they are, completely frozen into ice after 2 days. Let it melt down and see the result...

When comparing with previous experiment, we couldn't see changes in any opals.
The freezer is normally set to -10 degrees C (14 degrees F) to -15 degrees C (5 degrees F), which is very similar temperature to the condition in Antarctica. In this experiment, the result showed that -10 degrees C to -15 degrees C won't create damages or make any change to opals.
But, it might show some differences if opals were not to put into water. So how about if we put opal in to a freezer by itself for 24 hours this time.
Freeze these opals again and....
